Hello guys and gals,

For the past half a year or so I haven't been anywhere near as active as I was during 2016. I used to pump out tracks like there was no tomorrow. This is just an explaination as to why I don't do that anymore.

If you listen to my latest songs then you should notice that my mixing is a lot better than what it used to be. I've started to use slight sidechains instead of reducing volume to allow the kick drum and snare to go through in the mix, and I've kept everything at a reasonable volume without major compression and I have been trying to make sure that sounds work together. That might sound a little basic but it takes up a lot more time than what I used to do with just volume adjustments.

Another thing is exams/revision. I only have 12 weeks until my GCSEs and revision is basically my life at this point. It sucks all the fun out of my day and just makes me want to play games to cool off. As a bonus I do get 10 weeks holiday after them so maybe I will be able to be more active then.

Not sure if most of you care, but thanks for listening. I'll try and be more active whenever is possible!

Title says it all - exams suck.

Currently taking my mock exams and they have made me tired as heck. I still have another week left of 'em, and with the new English and Maths specifications that we have in the UK the exams are extra hard. I've done some revision, but most of the time it just doesn't sink in anyway.

Only things I've been enjoying recently are BioShock infinite and World of Tanks. Literally all I've been playing in my spare time.

Any advice on how to not be so tired? I don't go to sleep late either.

Just for all those wondering, I'm not dead. I just can't think of any way to finish the projects I've got going on currently. That, and I have a load of schoolwork to do.

You might be wondering why I haven't uploaded in a while. The answer is that I just can't think of what to do. Me and @PianoreGD are doing a collab soon and I have a few side projects that I'm working on but haven't finished.

Anybody got any tips on how to deal with writer's block? It's really sucky at the moment.
